The image is colored with copics and pencils. The pink background is glossy paper that was colored by inking a craft mat, spraying with water and dragging the glossy through it. Glossy creates wonderful pastels this way. Hand beaded the gown with delica beads using a Pergamano piercing tool. Used the tool to create shoe laces and tie in the boys shoes. Hand stitched panels by piercing using a needlepoint plastic canvas. Strung the silver delicas and added to the bow along with a button. The embossed "Cherish" became smeared all over the top when I dragged my hand through the warm embossing powder so I had to add the label.
A special thanks to Jennifer (mother's daughter) who tipped me off on the Pergamano piercing tool for extra fine piercing. The beads would have not been possible without it.

Just beautiful, Nancy, and you've added so many wonderful touches with the beads and shoe laces. I love the pale pink.
Re: Your comment on my card---Yes, you'll have to get out your adorable snowman stamp soon. Can't wait to see what you do with it this time. I had not planned my card exactly as I did it but ended up really liking it just the same. Can't wait to make another one. I'll try to hold off a bit, though. :-)

One of these days, I will make it out there to the shores of Lake Erie so you can show me how you did this - it is a truly exceptional card with all the finely detailed bead work and stitching and the gorgeous layering with those soft colors, to say nothing of your copic skills- you can tell you put your whole heart into this!!
