I created a pink standard card (4 1/4 x 5 1/2") and then added a strip of green cardstock that I smudged and doodled on with white acrylic paint, green ink and a fine black pen. I just played with it until it looked "watermelony". I used a corner rounder on the bottom corners. I stamped the face next (Peachy Keen Stamps PK-180 Erkle and Merkle Face Assortment) and painted the eyes with white and green acylic paint. I drew the seeds with a black pen and then went over them with glitter glue for some extra sparkle. I took a chomp out of the top of the card with a Scallop Circle Framelits die from Sizzix.

This is so fun! I'm thinking about using a watermelon theme for my SU workshop later this summer and your card has given me ideas for a funky unconventional invitation. Thanks for the inspiration!
