This card is for two challenges this week. I am very late for the tea party, where this week we were to bring apples and thanks to a very special teacher.
Also, for the WT this week, we're celebrating Math Awareness by putting math words or symbols on our card.
I dug out this old Inkadinkadoo set, with a chalkboard and an apple. This could probably be considered vintage! My DS doesn't even know what a chalkboard is, since they use white boards, smart boards, iPads and such these days. No more beating the chalk out of the erasers with a ruler, yay! I used to hate that chore, LOL.
Thanks to Michelle, Sheri and Dorothy for bringing us the challenges and tea party destination this week!

I am a retired teacher and teacher themed cards still pull on my heart. I love this one in black and white. Thank you cards meant more than anything a parent could give me.

Beautiful and classy! I love the clean bg with the blackboard and stack of books with the red apple on top! A perfect card for any teacher, especially Barb!

Great job on double duty! When I was teaching I had to drag a big vacuum out of the custodial closet - a Fri. afternoon task to such that chalk dust out of the erasers! You certainly are not late - any time is great to honor such a special group.
