I seem to be doing well getting masculine cards made for the IC these days. I thought of this as a boy card when I started, but actually I think it will do perfectly well for a 50 year old engineer friend who studied robotics and has worked for the European Space Agency.
When I saw this Robot Chalkboard Sticker I knew exactly what I wanted to do. It's a manic weekend here and DH has required my desk twice, but in between other chores and while I was allowed upstairs, I had fun with this.
I used Heated Pearls to make my space-feel base.
SAS robot stamped on black card, embossed with white EP,, same for the sentiments which are both Hero Arts. I could just hear a synthesised robot voice saying "Seize the cake, seize the cake" ;-). The little meteor is part of the same SAS set. White ink smudged on, layered up on black card and then popped up on the base. I added some little suns punched out of holographic and black card, and gems to match the one in the meteor.

Sabrina,
This is so very, very adorable! I think since the robot is so cute, one might have to share their b'day cake with him! Your card is wonderful! I like the feeling of dark space and the BG paper is super cool!
