OK, I had fun with this, not sure about the end result but it will certainly do for my teen nephew.
A2 base.
Text paper coated with gesso, crumpled, sponged, stamped with Distress, lots more sponging, embossed with Clockworks, sponged with blue and red, then a hint of silver. Edges distressed.
For the foil panel I used spray-mount to stick foil to card, then cut out Labels 8 and embossed with Clockworks. Gesso, then distress inks and Staz-On Stone Grey. Black ep round the edges.
Clock and sentiment are from HOTP - clock stamped, sponged with Antique Linen and then Cracked Glass technique. Sentiment stamped with Distress, sponged and then one layer of UTEE.
Photo corners were originally more of my tomato paste tube embossed and inked, but the gold was too bright so I added Verdigris ep. Arrow stamp from StarvingArtistamps, with Liquid Pearls added.
Messy, fun, and a near miss when I almost put alcohol ink onto a regular distress ink sponge!

Sabrina, this card is WOW! I love just everything! That background technique is gorgeous and the edge distressing makes it look so vintage! I love the red arrows, and the cracked glass of the clock face. The metallic layer is beautifully done with gear embossing, but for me the best of all are the photo corners in verdigris!
