Gustav Klimt is a favorite artist of mine. Adele Bloch-Bauer was the wife of one of Klimt's patrons and Adele is the only model Klimt painted twice.
I chose this card of Jennifer's for two reasons: I liked the three panels and the repeated images. Triple Time Snowflakes by jentimko at Splitcoaststampers
So I followed her layout, including the embellishments and tag (says 'muse' as I felt that Adele must have been a sort of muse to Klimt). I also used this skirt from yesterday's IC for color inspiration: http://www.madewell.com/madewell_cat...1922/01922.jsp
I used blue and yellow watercolors on a wet piece of wc paper and let them run into blues and greens. There is a little pink in the fabric of the skirt so that is represented by my tag, ribbon and bead.
The WT challenge was to represent the girls. I think Adele is an elegant representation of a woman.
For extra measure, I also included MIX4 in the keywords, as this challenge was to use water to move around pigment.

Nancy, this is nothing short of brilliant! So artistic but within reach of us, the common masses. I like Klimt, too, and you hit it out of the ballpark with this beauty! (Did your fingers grow weary commenting on all the cards as Featured Stamper? Hope not!)

Oh, I am sooooo sorry! I thought I was in Nancy Littrell's gallery. So the comments are still absolutely what I meant to say, but ignore that last bit about FS. Wow. I must be more tired than I thought. Your card is amazing!

so cool how this card covers all the challenges. I especially like how you chose to use different prospectives of Adele and the trims. Very nicely done
