Hi there teapotters! This is what I made for this week's Teapot Tuesday recipient, Linda (zgirlsgranny)
This is my story!
1. I am so impressed with Linda's many amazing talents. All her hobbies and skills! Geeze, she even does wood-working, big time!
2. So, in honor of Linda and her woodworking, I was determined to make my own project outa wood. So, I pulled out the skill saw, the jig saw, the wood glue, my hammer with little flowers on it, sand paper, chisel and lathe.....
3. After wondering how and what you do with all that equipment and realizing its sorta bulky for my stamp room, I found a little basket of 42,000 wood cut-outs happily purchased throughout the last 42,000 years and proceeded to cover a few of them up with pretty paper!
4. Whoot! Made a woodworking project and don't have to file a workman's comp claim against my hubby for an injury that surely would have happened.....Snort! You go girl! Linda, I am talking to you! Giggle!
5. So, here's to Linda, here's to you and your amazing talents. Here's to you and your battle with cancer and here's to you beating this thing and getting back to the teaparties with your friends! We have missed you!
My thoughts and prayers are with you!
