This week the Teapotters are making cards for one of our own, Linda (zgirlsgranny), who is fighting cancer. I think Linda was active in some challenges, including VSN, so probably lots of folks know her. If you'd like to send her some love and support, check here: MMTPT241 Strong & Sweet Zuzu, What Will You Do? by momof5sons at Splitcoaststampers
This is also the MFT sketch challenge for this week, and the Ways to Use it, using piercing. Actually, it started out as a card for the ombre technique challenge, because I thought a paint sample card would be the perfect example of ombre. I'm not sure the lightest green is light enough to really count, however. I just kept changing things as I worked on this card, so nothing is what I planned.
This seed packet image is an actual stamp (as opposed to the stickers I used a few weeks ago). Colored with pencils. Circle is embossed. There's a row of border sticker tape under the sentiment -- I started out with ribbon there and just didn't like how it looked

I think your card is wonderful! I've not tried using the paint chip strips on my cards yet but want to one day. I love how you've softened it with the piercing and the addition of the seed pack image looks great! Love the embossed circle in the background too.

this turned out wonderfully. I get a kick when you start a card with one idea and it turns out completely different...kinda fun, except the times when that happens and you dont like at all how it turned out. Far opposite as here...beautiful... super job with all the challenges and such a perfect way to use the paint swatch...TFS..:0)

I love the use of the paint chip for ombre! This is a wonderful gardening card, especially with the stamped seed packet! And the cabbage is just in time for St. Patrick's Day! A wonderful earthy card with your great choice of colors!

I was thinking that paint chips would work for ombre, and seeing yours I was right! (You're missing the L from TLC in your keywords. The piercing looks great on it too, it really adds definition.
