Alabama Rose. Oh, she is sweet! And you should see what's on her kitchen counter! Mercy....she's got a bit of everything. She's so talented, she can even digi it! Yes...m'am! Her kitchen counter faces out into the backyard which has tractors, a catfish pond, horses, and cows. How inspiring!
Ok, now back to Rose. You know, she had a birthday, way back in November (kinda like nwilliams6), and you know, she didn't get a timely card either! Hmph! So, this lil gal is bringing them both some roses, and they are stitched up fine in chicken scratch too. Country style.
The main image is a card I have hoarded since my teens (and mercy, that was a looooong time ago!) There were no credits on the cards I saved, but it reminds me of Bessie Pease Gutmann. I have loved this artwork forever, and decided to share it with a sweet friend I treasure. Happy Birthday my friend. Hope you still have cake on that kitchen counter! Thanks for looking!

Oh, what a sweet little card with those little chicken scratches all around it. That image is so adorable. Nancy will love this beauty the minute she sees it.

WOW Buttnik, can't believe you let go of that wonderful hoarded image. I don't think I could have done that. hehe You see I have a tiny problem throwing things away. I get them in the bag but can't bring myself to actually put them in the trash. (we are talking old clothes and such. hehe) SO DH, who loves to toss things has to do the throwing but sometimes I don't tell him I have a bag to go! hehe......back to your wonderful card. You do the best-est work ALWAYS! I love the stitching you did. This this super sweet and will be so appreciated by your friend. LOVE IT! TFS :0)

It's sitting on my kitchen counter where it has been since I opened it. I will cherish it always! Wow. So many people have asked about it and when I tell them they look again and I see wonder on their face. What a special thing to send me - can't think of anything better you could have sent other than yourself! Hugz and LYMI!
