HI everybody! Happy New Year's Eve! I am so excited that I was able to play along in the Technique Challenge today because I have been seeing this chalkboard technique EVERYWHERE and I have been wanting to try it. My card is a very simple design but with a whole lot of stamping....NOT made any easier because this stamp set is not clear so that made assembling the little bodies, etc. a real...ahem, challenge! Nonetheless, this is the set I wanted to use so I muddled through it. Several hours later once all the stamping was done and embossed..ok, it really only took about 45 minutes, lol.....I adhered it to a Kraft sheet that I embossed with wood grain, then adhered to my card. I really like how it turned out! As you can probably guess, this is for my sweet hubs and of course, I cannot leave out Baxter (aka "the Bax-man"). I will definitely use this technique again but probably will not use a stamp set with soooooo many teeny tiny parts to it...lol! Anyways, thank you for a fun challenge and I hope everyone has a safe and happy new year. As for us, our little party of 3 will all be snuggled in at home for the evening! ;)

Katie!!
Love this portrayal of your happy family, though that was a LOT of work, it turned out stupendous! Looks like the little clings thingies that people put on their rear window of their vehicles - great job with all the placement - you are GOOD!!
