The teaparty is headed to Winnipeg, MB Canada. Charlene's (crystaldolphins) Dad is our special honoree! These are her words:
Dad had surgery on Oct. 16th and the doctor is very pleased. Although he has quite a recovery period ahead, they removed all of the cancer! He will be in the hospital probably until the first week of November as they have to ensure everything is working as it should. We are very thankful and so relieved that they did (and were able to do) the surgery. There were numerous ways this could have gone bad but it didnÂ’t!
Get Well, Thinking of You cards are all appropriate! If you want to include my mom on the card, that would be fine! My mom is a HUGE, HUGE fan and supporter of our teaparties! The theme will work for both as well as the scripture.
So I made this card for Bob. It is kinda large, 5"x7". I had this in my stash and I have no idea where it is from, but it is a card, just an embarrassingly large tag shape. LOL The deer, tree, pinecones, clouds and folliage was all cut out on my Cricut. The mountains and snowy slopes were had cut. I added a LARGE button and used a little twine. Then I went a little crazy with the stickles and glitter! I used green stickles on the trees, a little purple on the mountains and diamonds on the pinecones. Then I added the ultra fine glitter to the whole scene (except the deer).
Maybe I should just call this Disco Deer...so much sparkle! LOL
The verse on the inside is, "Give your burdens to the Lord. He will carry them". Psalm 55:22
Thank you for hosting Fran! Charlene, prayers for your Dad for continued healing. Thanks everyone for taking a peek!

Thanks for sending this to my dad Kathleen and for your prayers. They were supposed to receive quite a bit of snow yesterday so this is perfect! Love the scene you created and the tag is such a great idea
