Today's Teapot Challenge was to make a card inspired by church. Now, being the good pastor's wife that I am, I could hardly pass this challenge by!
The first thing I thought of was hymns so I started with my hymn page torn and sponged and mounted on a base of Kraft also sponged. I had this pretty butterfly already made and sitting on my desk and that reminded me of God's transforming power and His grace poured out on us that enables us to live transformed, beautiful lives for Him. I had started with a piece of Vanilla cs that I sponged with More Mustard and Cajun Craze and stamped with spatter in Early Espresso. I won this butterfly die from The Cat's Pajamas during the Dirty Dozen challenges. To add some color I used the TH Bricked ef with Cajun Craze and the MS Drippy Goo punch in Always Artichoke. I added some black accents with a flourish#10 diecut, K&Co SMASH tape and a black organdy bow. The inside edge has the script word Grace as well as more polka dot tape. I had chosen a hymn about grace so I added a verse about grace also that really sums up what I experience at church: Grace and peace be yours in abundance through the knowledge of God and Jesus. 2 Peter 1:2

Your card is beautiful. I was going to use a stamp All is Well with my Soul but I never even inked it. The butterfly is lovely and I like the colors you used but your write up really touched me. God is so good!
