Joanne(jojot) was selected by Trish to be our Queen for this week. Oh my, does Joanne have a VAST gallery filled with terrific cards....and she has been at it for a LONG time. I was truly amazed. So much inspiration to be had.
I was drawn to this CARD of Joanne's because I really liked how she had the bg panel meld into her main image one. I was experimenting with a technique, Velveteen Stamping, that I saw on Ellen Hutson's Classroom blog by Karolyn Loncon. I carried the houndstooth motif between the two panel. I changed the colors and images, but kept the leaf motif.
Congratulation, Joanne....a most deserved honor. I'm thrilled for you.

Sallie -
What a great technique - I was amazed at how cool that looks and wondered how you did it! I thought is was kissing the stamp onto the houndstooth BG - very cleverly done - love the fall 'feel'!
