This is for today's French Garden House challenge. FABULOUS website, I can only dream about shopping there. This card started out as something entirely different but morphed into its present state. My inspiration was this chair: http://www.frenchgardenhouse.com/catalog.php?item=3310
The frame started out as a medium-dark brown CS. Embossed on it twice with a SU Tiny Tag and used ultra thick ep to create some texture. Stamped on top of that with SU Heat & Stick, then brushed on three colors of Perfect Pearls: gold, bronze and copper. The top CS layer was diecut and the image placed underneath with a bit of chalking around the edges (of the image). Then the layer was popped up and the frame popped up from that with the idea being to make the chair look like a painting in a frame. Not the original idea, but it was one of those days. TFL!!

Ha! I'm glad I'm not the only one who starts out with a vision for a card and it takes on a life of its own!! Thankfully you end up with great results like yours!! Fabulous card, very vintage-y and totally captures the inspiration piece you chose! Great job!! Thanks for playing along this weekend!!

You need to do a tutorial on that frame - wow - it is soooo impressive and sooo well done. What a great card - love the colors and the gold but that frame steals the show. Let me know if you do a tutorial!
