This is for the Teapot Tuesday Challenge. This week we are sending our cards to Brenda who was in a head on accident. Brenda lived through the Grace of God and has a long recuperation in front of her.
We were to bring flowers and butterflies to the party and a scripture for desert.
I used Whisper White and Lovely Lilac papers and ink. My first layer I ran through a CB ef. Don't know the name. Next I sponged an ef with ink and ran my paper through then cut with SU Apothecary Accents. I popped that up on dimensionals . Next I cut my butterflies out with a CL die. I make some bling spray using Alcohol and Tsukineko Frost White Ink. I sprayed both of them It doesn't show up on the photo very well but its pretty IRL. Next I cut out my leaves with a CL die, Olive Leaves. My flower was gifted to me from Kathy Bradley. I added pearls. I am addicted to pearls! Could be worse!! Next inside I cut a piece of white paper and stamped using a set from ODBD Anchor. Inside the scripture says:
The hope we have is an anchor for the soul, sure and steadfast. Hebrews 6:19. Then I stamped three butterflies from and old SU set, Good Friend.
I feel like I wrote a short novel.
Thanks for looking and hope you like my card.

How beautiful! I think I recognise the butterfly embossing folder, do I ;-). The one on the base layer is fantastic, too. What crisp, clean elegance you have here, totally in keeping with the teapot.
There are definitely many worse addictions than pearls!!

Ah....Sylvia, I had to save this to Favs so I could keep coming back to admire all the feminine beauty, and soft touches. This is truly beautiful on so many levels. Your texturing, colors and gorgeous butterfly are just outstanding. Love that sweet lil bloom that seems to hug this card. G-o-r-g-e-o-u-s my Sistah! Lymi
