Trish chose Kathleen Lammie as the Queen for this week. Kathleen is one of those stampers who comes onto the scene like a shooting star. She hasn't been uploading all that long on SCS, but jumped in with both feet...and hands, entering challenges and leaving kind and encouraging comments for many as she went. She has a wonderful gallery.
I've always loved mermaid motifs, so I was drawn to THIS CARD of hers. I altered colors, background, and layout beside using a digi image(this one has aged for months, so I had no problem with Copics and my computer ink).
A BIG CONGRATS, Kathleen....enjoy your week and special gallery.

WOW! Such a vibrant and colorful card. Your mermaid looks like she is actually floating under the sea. It's just gorgeous and a lovely tribute to Kathleen indeed.

Oh Sallie, what a great way to honor Kathleen this week!! I agree she has sure jumped in full force and is everywhere you are looking, and what talent!!
Love the mermaid card you chose and what an amazing job you did coloring her - the MB die down the side and the swirly EF you used are just perfect to mimic the waves. Just an extraordinary card all around!!
