Julia has given us this weeks colours. Whisper White, Sahara Sand and Basic grey and the desert option is Stripes.
My wolf image and the paw prints are from Stampin Up's "Wolf" set. I stamped the Wolf image on Whisper White cardstock using Versafine onyx black ink and then clear embossed it. Coloured image with a light grey and basic grey ink. Around the eyes I used a light tan colour. Sponged sahara sand around the image and the stamped over image with sanded backgrounder using basic grey. I made the paw print dp. Stamped the paws using basic grey onto texture Sand coloured dp - and then clear embossed the paw prints. Stamped over top using the sanded backgrounder using basic grey ink. I made the striped panel= cut 1/4" strips of grey and sand and then assembled panel. I placed twine overtop of the grey strips. Assembled the base card. Added the corner tabs, sewed edges. Sponged grey around the wolf panel. Matted with BG and Tan. Punched holes and added the eylets and threaded twine in the holes to make a frame. Cut out two paw prints 1x1 (inches) and matted with Basic Grey. Wolf panel and paw prints are popped up.
I am very pleased with how this turned out.

Pat, what a fantastic card that would make a wonderful guy card. Your image has a piercing quality and I like the inchies paw prints. Your bg DPs are so well chosen. A REAL winner!

Pat what a stunning card! Your wolf is so life like and the way you framed him is fabulous..love the twine outline, the sewing, the dark punched corner pieces, the paw prints...it all goes together so wonderfully! Great design!
