This is for TLC370 to create faux patina using the Belleek Inspired technique from a few weeks ago. I made the background and frame this morning before getting ready for work and finided the flowers and foliage tonight when I got home. Fun, fun technique, Judy! This card is so much prettier in real life. I seem to have problems photographing gold embossing and it sort of looks just like dirt on the card. LOL! I used Antique Linen and Broken China ink and then embossed. I didn't actually do a thrid darker color as I coulldn't figure out what would go best. I had stuck fairly close to Judy's color combination but stopped before using the darker green. I sponged the frame with Antique Linen and lightly sprinkled embossing powder over it with a spoon. I didn't want it to get toally covered but wanted hints of the gold to look like it had worn off the frame due to age. I used vanilla foliage and lightly sponged it with both Antique Linen and Broken China and sprinkled the powder on them for the same look as the frame. I used the same ink and technique on the three flower blossoms. I distressed the flowers and the foliage with a stylus and mat. I finished the flowers with an antique gold pearl. I only wish it had photographed as pretty as it really is.
