The teaparty cards this week are going to Lydia's Mum who's been going through a rough time physically, and my card is off today, to hopefully give her a smile. We appreciate Lydia for all that she does, so it's a perfect chance to tell her Mum that she raised a good one!! It was a no-brainer for me about which image to use when Cindy mentioned cats AND Queen Elizabeth - this little set was made by Elzybells which is no longer in operation. I used the color challenge colors for today also.
She may be Queen Kitty, but she still gets dirty paws like the rest of us, hence kitty prints leading up to her pink silk cushion (which was paper pieced)! I cut the word "queen" from another sentiment which says..."it's your birthday, have a puuuuurfect day...may you be treated like a queen."
I used tiny gems for the collar tag and the crown.
And my envelope is even decorated with the real Queen Elizabeth's profile...yep, Northern Ireland is a province of the U.K. so not only our money but our postage stamps have the Queens head on them, she is the sovereign of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland!

Love that trail of little kitty footprints! I was definitely family to my cat, but we had a Siamese to whom, I am sure, we were all staff. That sentiment always makes me smile.

Bridget, this is a real beauty. I love the cat with the crown and jewels. The colors are lovely together and your embossing really stands out. This is awesome.
