Super TLC challenge! I like using images to make a border or background. For this, I used a little Santa hat all around the border on the 5.5 x 4.25 card front.
All images are DRS Designs. For the main image, I stamped the Christmoose circle twice, die cut one w/ a circle, colored the other and cut it out. I added a little cardboard under it b4 attaching it over the base image.
On all the Santa hats, I added some Puffy paint (like Liquid Applique). Just dot or spread it on, wait a few minutes then carefully heat it w/ the heat gun and poof!
The turquoise layer was embossed and and I rubbed a little white chalk ink over the top. The black grid layer was done using an old TLC tech, TLC235 . Fun and fast! One of my fave techniques.
Thanks so much for looking! I'll have close ups on my blog in just a bit: The Write Stuff
