I was so happy to see Jo aka reddydyisco as the Featured Stamper today. I knew exactly which card I wanted to case without looking. I knew my Bugaboo Gus image was perfect for it.
I changed the scenery for Gus from a pool to the tropics.
I stamped the starvingartistamps background stamp and cut out the palm trees and bushes. I printed out the Bugaboo Gus image and sentiment. I then sponged on the sahara sand and stamped the itty bitty bg stamps with close to cocoa and crumb cake. I masked off the sand and sky and brayered on cool caribbean and baja breeze for my water. Last I used a handcut cloud template and sponged in my clouds.
I popped up Gus and the sentiment.
Totally Stampalicious blog challenge is to use a stamp that you haven't use in 6 months. I had it for probably that long and never used it. I hope it counts

For me, this is one of the best cards I've seen in the gallery!!! It's hilarious but beautifully executed. You have masking and coloring going on to create this amazing tropical scene and there he is- in all his glory! I hope whoever receives this amazing creation is worthy and appreciates it. It's fantastic.
