This card started off as this week’s One Layer Wednesday card. This week we are doing cards inspired by last Sunday’s Classic Beauties post on the “Cake Wrecks” blog. When I looked at the post, I was really drawn to the cakes that were blue & white or green & white. They reminded me of this wonderful card by Karen Dunbrook, so I decided to CASE it. (Thanks for the inspiration Karen!) I used sponging for this week’s CAS challenge.
Also this card qualifies for today’s Technique Lover’s challenge – to use at least two of the techniques that have been done for previous challenges. This card used TLC22 – Dry Embossing TLC28 – Masking, TLC77 - Look, Ma, No Layers!, and TLC277 - One Layer Wonders. It also uses Emboss Resist, but I was unable to find that as one of the previous challenges. (Maybe I am just missing it?)
Anyway, I love how this turned out! TFL!

Had to comment on this card- it totally rocks. You've brought in a few different techniques but they all mesh together so well. Don't usually get drawn to the brighter colors but, again, the way you've used color on this is amazing. Great work.
