This is my card for today's Teapot Tuesday Challenge: MMTPT119 ~ DAISY, DELILAH, LOU AND THE BLUE CANOE! by Mothermark at Splitcoaststampers
Amazingly, I managed to make it to the tea party before the day was through!
You won't believe it, but this week we are heading for the Amazon (yes, the real Amazon, not the on-line bookstore)! Our guide, Lou, is supposed to take us on his barge down the river to Daisy's beautiful white canoe that is supposedly covered with hand-painted daisies. However, we've found out that this was all a ploy by Delilah, Daisy's friend, to get all 42,000 teapotters to the Amazon to bring Daisy some daisies to spiffy up her canoe. It turns out it is not a white, floating palace at all, just an ugly blue canoe! If we all bring daisies, we can get this thing done and get on with our tea party!
In reality, this card will be sent to Bonnie, the chaplain at Lighthouse Hospice in Austin, Texas. We are hoping that our handmade cards will brighten the day of some of the patients and families there. Read all the details here: Forums at Splitcoaststampers
