Congrats to CherylQuilts for being honored as this week's Featured Stamper on SCS. Cheryl's gallery is filled with patterned paper, fun sketches, and slathers of color. I can tell she's a quilter! I chose to CASE this card: My Stud Muffin by CherylQuilts at Splitcoaststampers called STUD MUFFIN
I'm an avid fan of Saltbox images - I so miss them. So when I saw her card I immediately knew - just had to ! My hubby is creating his very first quilt so my theme is twofold: to let him know I'm proud and impressed and to give a little honor to Cheryl's love of quilting as well. I kept the theme and stampset, changed the layout and added brads.
The quilted panel is very easy to do: Cut a piece of copy paper 3 3/4 X 5 inch. Using a 1 1/4 inch square punch, cut squares out of scrap designer paper. Adhere the squares onto the copy paper. Position the finished copy paper panel on your favorite die cut and cut out out the shape with a big shot, cuttlebug or whatever tool you have. Done!
EDIT: THIS ALSO QUALIFIES FOR F4A36 PAPER PIECING WITH SCRAPS
Thanks for looking!

This is just as cute as cute can be, Christine! How cool that your husband is quilting. Thanks for explaining how you brought your squares together, too.
