This is my card for today's Teapot Tuesday challenge. I can't believe I've actually made it to the tea party two weeks in a row! This week we are headed for Coconut Creek, Florida, the Butterfly Capitol of the World! We've been invited by Tilly (the Tutor) Tubberfly. Seems she is having some trouble with her teenage sons, Turbo and Tucker. They would rather zip around, Top Gun style, doing fly-bys of the National Butterfly Behavior Foundation, than behave like proper butterflies! They've got poor Tilly in a tizzy and the teapotters have come to help out!
This card is also for Jackie (m&m'sgrandma), who could use some happy mail right now. Check out the Destination Station #110 post here: Forums at Splitcoaststampers
Jackie's daughter, Trina (mnfroggie) says her Mom loves butterflies and flowers and frills.
I used the Mojo Monday #155 sketch for my layout: http://mojomonday.blogspot.com/2010/...5-contest.html
See you at the tea party!

Wow your paper choice is amazing and you put together a beautiful card. The paper you used for the butterflies is perfect . . . and do I see a hint of more pretty paper and eyelet border on the inside? The ribbon is just yummy and the sentiment is perfect. Perfection my dear, pure perfection.

I just love the colours in this, it's been attracting my eye as I look through the gallery. The little butterflies are well camouflaged in there - and there's even a pattern on the paper that almost looks like a dragonfly for good measure!

I absolutely love this vintage-y, shabby-chic, cheerful card! Great design, awesome job at combining papers and the butterflies are perfect! Surely it will bring a big smile to the recipent!
