This morning, Jeanne challenged everyone to do something snowy and add distressing. I had OCL's sketch challenge, some cute new penguin images from their latest release, and got started. The distressing started when I roughed up the edge of my chocolate cardstock and continued after I adhered everything and ended up ripping the cardstock where I'd intended to add some ribbon and buttons. To cover my mistake (since I was so far into this already), I cut some cotton balls in half (here on my desk after a botched attempt at wearing purple nailpolish), sprayed some elmer's craft bond on 'em, and then glittered them up. Some regular school glue holds them down.
This sucker's getting stuffed into a cellophane bag and wayyyy down deep into the card stash!

Things like that happen to me allll the time! I just don't tell anyone! Haha! It turned out beautifully. Love how you picked up the colors and shapes from the DP. And your penguins are darling!

I think it totally adorable! Sound like my morning. I went to get gas for my vehicle, couldn't find my debit card and was out of checks. Good thing I live in a small town!
