This week's CAS challenge on SCS is to use a sketch contributed by stampingout *aka CAS DT Emily*. Her sketch featured large scallops. I altered mine to a medium size so they wouldn't overpower the dots in the design paper. Two stamped hearts embellished with clear buttons add to the wedding theme. The SU satin ribbon is gathered with twine - all elements happen to be the wedding couple's color theme found on their registry. I love 'em, don't you?
I'm hoping Joan will allow me to qualify this card for TLC286 which is to use ribbon without tying a knot or using a bow. Technically the ribbon itself is not tied - it is gathered and bound by a piece of twine wrapped around twice The twine is then tied and glued into place in the *back*. That's my story and I'm stickin' to it, wink , Check out this TLC as Joan has a link for some awesome ribbon butterflies which I hope to try too!
Thanks for taking a look!

Great card. You know I wondered where people got those big scallop circle borders. You just taught how. Thankyou. I love the way you did your ribbon with it tied on the end and the dsp is really perty.
