Hi! This card was made for todayÂ’s Sketch Challenge.
I am rediscovering bright colors ala NANCYRUTH. I have to say, I LOVE using them, and they make me feel YOUNG! No wonder NR acts so YOUNG! LOL
I decided to go with purples, greens and blues today. This afternoon, Markie and I looked up Seahorses on the internet. We found all sorts of them with colors ranging from yellow to purple! What awesome creatures!
The images were all stamped in AdirondackÂ’s Pitch Black. ItÂ’s a dye based ink and doesnÂ’t smear when used with Copic Markers, as they are alcohol based. Believe me, this ink combo works for me the best. I used sponge daubers to color in the seahorse with Palette Hybrid Inks. The coral was colored in with Copics. Next, I used the Copic Airbrush to shade in the ocean.
Finished card size: 4 ¼” x 5 ½”
Total time to complete: 47 minutesÂ… There were a LOT of layers, and while fussing with the airbrush, I woke up Speedy the Cat who then demanded his evening treat!

Bold and beautiful! Reminds me of the interior of a seafood restaurant we ate in...they had huge murals of brightly colored sea scenes everywhere!
