Today Pam aka IRIS is the FS. What an awesome gallery she has. I chose this card to caseÂ…Â…detailsÂ….
I have been working on this little scene for a couple of weeks now. You see late one night, like after 9 oÂ’clock, I was watching AmericaÂ’s Funniest Videos. I know, how sad is that! Anyway, there was one of a bear sitting in these peoples hammock out back. Well that image just stuck in my head until I finally put pen to paper and this is what I came up with.
It works perfectly for the FS card I chose today. Pam has Riley in the hammock, and I haveÂ…. a bear. Plus hers is tropical and mine just plain old backyard stuff. Pretty much drew it all except the leaves are from Judith and the bushes and grass from CDS. All coloring except the clouds, sky and grass, were done with re-inkers, then versa marked and clear epÂ’d.
The clouds were painted with white acrylic paint, sky and grass sponged. Layered this with black cs cut out with scalloped scissors.
Added the white flower eyelets, some ribbon and a flower that I cut out of a magazine, layered with cs then put diamond glaze on.
Popped my scene up on a square card that I put Graphic 45 dp on and doodled the edges. Well, that pretty much does it. Pam enjoy your FS day! Hope ya’ll like what I saw on “late” night TV. hehe……TFL :0)

My DH was just saying today how he wished he had a hammock to recline in. Mutt Nutt Nutmeg Cathy, your artistry and darling cards always make me smile. You are so blessed to be able to draw. Another fabulous and cute scene you've created, my friend!

Wow, the things a person can get from 'late' night TV!!!! Your drawings are wonderful. That bear is so cute, I'd almost think he might not want to eat anyone who came upon him! Love the hammock and trees too! A very cute and sunny backyard scene. Though I think I'd like my backyard to be minus the bear, as cute as he might be!!!! Fabulous coloring and sponging. TFS. : )

Wow, another original by Mutnik!! I am amzed at how you take one lil' stamp and create a whole SCENE around it - like the camper one you did for your Sis's QFTD !! You are reallly a talented lady, Cathy, and we are so fortunate to have you sharing all this with us here, everyday, TFS! Love this stories every bit as much as your cards, too, by the way!!
