Since I've used the cracked glass technique but have also used a SU set of "Lovely as a Tree" (one of my all-time favorites), for this photo of the front of the card and the dry embossed envelope flap, I'm putting that one in the SU category.
I included this shot to show the envelope flap that I've dry embossed with the cuttlebug argyle EF, then I've taken sakura green and blue glitter pens and have highlighted different portions of the pattern. One night I dry embossed about 35 envelope flaps and highlighted them with sakura glitter pens for the first time (see what stampers do when they can't sleep! ), and I absolutely LOVE that effect, I think it works so well and will likely use it a lot in the future now that I've come up with using it on my envelopes.
The focal image was stamped with brown ink, then colored with many colors of greens and some browns of Twinkling H2O's, then I used the cracked glass technique on it. I tried to use decorative papers that were very masculine and fitting for a man who's such a great handyman as my friend's father, Bill is, and I thought that the addition of the screws brads gave it even more of a masculine touch.
Thanks so much for stopping in to check this out, and I learn so much from your comments, and I appreciate receiving them too.

Beautiful card .... Bill must have felt so special when he received this card! Love the argyle embossing, too!

Hello again,
I'm checking out your gallery. You have some wonderful cards on display. I LOVE this one! I do have trouble making masculine cards too. Mine are usually very simple cards. I DO own this EF so might try embossing the envelope flaps! Thanks for the idea... I noticed you haven't posted cards in a good while?
