Happy Friday! This week, the Twisted Sister Challenge was issued by Tater, and I am quoting here "All righty then!!! Today's TSC is to make a beach scene, no people, just beach life, water creatures, sand, etc. This is in honor of the folks who live on the coast of the Gulf of Mexico and what they must be having to deal with right now. Oh, and one more rule........NO P I N K!!!! So there!"
Now Phyllis, I want extra points this week, 1) because I completed a challenge, finally! And 2) because I did not mess with your rulz! See? I can be good! Lol. This was a great challenge and I enjoyed doing it.
I also love to do cards with a purpose. This card is for Mark, an 11 y/o boy who is looking at a two year round with chemo. Please read about Mark Here, and keep him in your prayers. This card seems a bit mature for an 11 y/o, but I hope the scene can take him away a bit, and that the words will give Mark and his parents hope.
Everyone is welcome to join the TSC, just add TSC0611 to your key words so we can enjoy your work! Thanks for looking!

Simply gorgeous, totally you! I love that you made this one for Mark. He is sure to enjoy it and find encouragement in the sentiment and soothing in the beauty of this love made card. TFS sis. Great take on Tater's no pink challenge.

Gorgeous, I tell ya. I wanted to use shells, but there was none available here. They look great on top of the liquid applique and the raffia ribbon gives added appeal.
