Today's FS is someone we all know, a person with a heart of gold....PAT SMETHERS. I looked in her gallery for a while and because I just made her a cowboy card, I chose this beauty. ~May's Swingin' Birthday~ by patsmethers at Splitcoaststampers Hers is more cheerful than mine and looks like a day in Spring. I had so much fun with it just the same.
Enjoy your wonderful week, Pat. You so deserve it!
Kept Pat's layout.
Changed the paper, punches, image, and instead of a ribbon, I've had this pretty feather needing some use and stuck it on. Moved my iron gate punch to top.
For Pam: punch tally: 2 punches, 2 die cuts-lost 250 lbs. because of a little trouble and lots of frustration trying to use my MS doily lace punch, which never got used. LOL

Benzi, you did a really great job on the FS challenge today honoring Pat!! From cowboy cards to this stunner huh? I LOVE your color combo and I, too, have that birdie image!! Isn't it wonderful? LOVE your border punches and pp too Benz!! You really did come up with a winner here!! OMG, and that feather - way 2 go my feathery friend!! Whew, I'm glad to see you finally saw the light of day and realized you had to show an official tally of your punches and die cuts. I was getting ready to oust you as prez for failure to obey the RULEZ!!! Guess you are safe for a little while longer, but I have to say that you are right in assessing a 250-lb. weight loss if you had to struggle that badly with the MS punch. I don't have any problems with mine, so I'll only lose a measley 5 pounds whever I use it. You really did good here Benz!! TFS!

Way to go, Punchkateer!! I love how you used your punches on this one. Oh, and I say that MS doily lace punch counts--even if it didn't make it on your card!! If you struggled enough with it to lose weight, it counts LOL.
Beautiful color combo! Love the high contrast and that pretty red feather. I love to see how you used your beloved birds in your cards, Benzi!! Nicely done tribute card for Pat

This is just wonderful! I love the colors and dp and all the punched borders. I've been looking for that iron gate punch. I keep seeing the matching corner, but the 3 stores I went to were all out of the border. Now I want it even more, lol. Great job!

That cute feather is a wonderful touch of whimsy! Those are some cool punches! I so want to join the club if you can lose weight punching!
I really like your color choices which are super elegant together.
