I loved Betty's color choices this week and found the perfect plaid by My Mind's Eye to tie them all together...love when that happens. My scrunched flower is made from 5 scallop circles punched out, edges sponged with tea dye ink, then fastened together with a brad. Each layer was then crinkled, wrinkled & scrunched! Say that 3 times really fast - lol! The bird parts were also sponged to add a little more depth. The sketch was created by Silke Ledlow for this week's Our Creative Corner Challenge, so I combined the CC with the OCCC! :-) Thanks for looking and taking the time to comment!

What a beautiful combination of details. I love your crinkled flower and your plaid paper. The colors are so pretty, and I like the patterned paper behind the bird.

WOW! This is just gorgeous. Love the plaid dp. YOur flower is gorgeous too. Love the bird, must get that punch! I'll tell ya, I just don't use dp that often, so I don't have much of a stash. I think I must remedy that!!
