The CAS challenge this week is a colour challenge using green and brown and the Featured Stamper's gallery is mommylvs2stamp. And this was the first time this brand spankin' new stamp saw ink, I'm good for WT261 too.
In the CAS challenge write-up, Miss Boo asks us what St. Patrick's Day means to us. Well, since St. Patrick's Day is also my cake and candles day, it usually means presents! And these days that often means stamps! And on our recent trip to Florida and my day out on the town with two SCS friends, this lovely stamp by Art Impressions found its way into my basket (along with a few others) as a way of helping DH with his shopping for my big day. Sweet, eh? And I didn't have to wait to use them either! The gals even sang to me in the store to make it official...
Well, since I share my birthday with a dear friend from high school I made this card is for her. I CASEd this card from mommylvs2stamp's gallery for today's FS162 challenge. And since I'm pretty much convinced she was FS61, I'm claiming that challenge too!
Things I changed: the colour scheme; number of layers; used die-cuts instead of corner mats.
Image is watercoloured with SU crayons and an aquapainter. The house and flowers might push the limits of the green/brown challenge... And as for CAS, this is about as CAS as I get!
Thanks for stopping by! Have a great week.

Hey, Heather!! I think you have a majority showing of brown and green to qualify this beauty. That was so very sweet of you to save your hubby the agony of trying to figure out what you wanted by getting it yourself. I'm all in favor of such helpfulness and try to apply it as often as I can, too!!! Happy Birthday to you in a few!!

I can see why you just had to have that Art Impressions stamp for your birthday!! It's absolutely beautiful And your watercoloring of it makes it all the better. Love those corner flourishes. Great use of your green and brown for this challenge
