Had to make one of those cards you don't like having to make....a sympathy card. My cousin's husband's mother past away.
Kristen -- aka Mommylvs2stamp, is the FS today. She had this lovely card that I thought would work for my sympathy card........details...
Kept the same layout, changed the flower, colors, added some leaves and changed the sentiment.
Made the bg by stamping sanded with versa mark on white cs clear eb. Stamped the different colored dots using versa mark and three different colors of ink, then clear ep. ....Note: Can you believe this, MS sent me an e-mail today. Okay, she sent it to everyone who is signed up for it. Anyway, it was showing how to make your own stationary by using the eraser of a pencil for stamping. Well, Martha, this is such old news to me. I have been cutting, shaping, stamping with pencil erasers for a very loooong time! hehe In fact that's what I used for the dots. Oh yeah, then I sponged bashful blue over it all.
Cut three different sized squares, sponging each a different color.
Stamped the leaves three times and the flowers twice, clear ep. Colored them all with w/c pencils and water. Versa marked, clear ep'd and cut out.
Computer did the sentiment, cut out and rounded corners. The ribbon was pink but I sponged it with tangerine tango.
Put this altogether on a white card popping up flower and parts of the leaves. Well, congrats Kristen on being the FS today and letting us browse through your awesome gallery.......TFL :0)
