Today, Jeanne S. challenged us to make a fairy tale card using bling! Thanks for the fun challenge, Jeanne!
The beautiful image is Rubbernecker‘s From the Heart Long Stemmed Red Rose! It was colored using Copics then stippled using cert. celery! The background was cuttlebugged using a Sizzix embossing folder and I used my Scorpal to score right side of background! The decorative border was done using a M/S punch! Zva pearls were added to the border and to the left of the image! TFL
This is also for a challenge I do with some of my SCS friends! Charlene challenged us to use an inspiration quote found at The Quote Garden ! Thanks for the wonderful challenge, Charlene!
Anyone can play along. If you decide to join us just add DDC to your keywords so that we can find your card!
This is the quote I chose to use!
God writes the gospel not in the Bible alone, but on trees and flowers and clouds and stars. ~Martin Luther

Francie~ I was off to view your IC for today, but this beauty stopped me in my tracks! OMGosh- completely lovely! Your rich colors and beautiful shading just take my breath away- and those pearls! I love your sentiment too, reminds me of Psalm 19. We love to read that one when we go camping. Beautiful and moving card. TSMFS
