For Mothermark's Teapot Tuesday Challenge we were to bring a touch of color to our card. Keep a lot of white but give a touch of brightness. I have to admit that I really wanted to make a snowflake card, but I knew I would get buzzzzzzed....so I was a good girl (today)!!!! I added that awesome (if I must say so myself) bloom created with the scallop circle punch. I've been seeing those throughout the galleries and blogland. Had to try a version of it.
For the Color Challenge this meets the requirements of either Event 1 or Event 2......if you count the green of the leaves then it goes for Event 2, otherwise it is mostly red and white which goes with Event 1.
Thanks for looking.
Edited to add.....this also qualifies for the DDC as I have 1 flower, 2 leaves, and 3 brads.

Ok, now I am over the shock, and I must say, your paper piercing and that gorgeous frame are knock out! Hugs....

Don't be looking for Mothermark today! She thought she could handle some triple twist loop-de-loop 360 quad toe pick action and ended up in traction! She asked me to fill in since I have been training for the Evian Water Babies Roller Blade team!
Dude, I have to apologize for my relative! He gets a little wacko in the heat of a snowboarding competition battle and embarrasses the lot of us! Always buzzing the competition specially if their logo is a snowflake! Snort!
Oh yeah, SnoSnertie.......Mothermark wanted me to tell you what a wonderful big ole flower you brought to Project X. Your card rocks....almost as much as Shaun, the Flying Tomato! Although, she wonders where the black matting is????

Good thing you stuck with the bloom instead of the snowflake. Mudder Mark and the other gals would have come after ya. Besides, that big flower is scrumptious. I need to try that. Wowzer! You hit some challenges today. Way to go!

Where ya been all day, SnoSnertie??? Bertie kept pestering me: "Where's SnoSnertie? Is she coming to da party? Huh? Huh?" She was really getting on my last nerve, but I must admit I've been missing you, too. You have been a little too quiet lately and that skeers me....giggle.
Anyhow, I'm glad you finally showed up. Your card is so stunning and that flower exquisite! I made one of them the other day when I was catching up on our DDC challenges, which was fun. This means that you actually hit TWO of the DDC challenges. Yeah, mon!
Bertie has already turned in for the evening. She was plum wore out from flinging duties today. I'll be sure to tell her you did make it so she can say hi to you tomorrow.
I hope all is well in your neck of the woods. Now I must turn in so I can go to stupid work tomorrow.

Joanne, I love your card, your intricately done border, and the sentiment is sad but true!! That poofy flower is gorgeous too!! Great job on all your challenges today!!
