Thanks, Holly, for introducing us to a cool new technique. This is for TLC259, Frosted Window. It calls for stamping your image on white CS, coloring with dark colors, stamping again on Vellum, and coloring in with lighter colors, then mounting one on top of the other, giving a frosted look.
My finances do not permit owning any fancy cutting tools, or those spectacular Copics (Some day!) so I have to make do with what I have. I traced the circle from a water glass, cut it out by hand. I then went around the inside with a circle punch, creating my own scallopped edge. Images were colored with SU markers. The top butterfly was cut out 4 times, coated with Diamond Glaze, glittered, and popped up. The card is accented with rhinestones and narrow gold organdy ribbon. And thanks to JovialJudi for the nudge to stamp on the inside!
It's not the best photo, but, after being up most of the night with a family crisis, I'm too tired to work any more on it. Maybe later. Right now, I need SLEEP! Be back later to leave comments.
Thanks for looking! I hope you like it.
Hugggs!

Maddy, love how you did the circle using a punch on the circle cut out. Very clever. Your card is just gorgeous! Hope the crisis is over and that everything is back to normal soon. Love your card. TFS :0)

Absolutely beautiful card ! And love to see ideas for doing things without having to buy every single tool that comes along. Isn't creativity all about thinking outside the box - you didn't have a tool that make it easier, but you had the vision to find another way ! Go girl !!

Maddy, you did a fantastic job! Imagine doing all that cutting and scalloping by hand! I love the whole look of this, beautiful image and the dp is perfect. When I glimpsed the inside, it was also a BIG nudge to me, to finish off the insides of my cards with a complimenting image. Thanks for the inspiration!
