Well, my husband devised this contraption so that I can SLOWLy try to colour in my Christmas cards. I am to keep my arm elevated.
Scary picture, I know ! I can't blow dry my hair, and I am in my dh shirt. I can colour cards, yes, but I can't tie bows or cut, even with a cutter. Big sigh!
Dec 19th- I am out of my cast.. however, my wrist is very weak and has very limited range of motion. SIGH! 2-3 months of phsiotherapy 2X a week , plus home exercises , and then they tell me my wrist should be working again. I thought just getting the cast off would be it ... but no!
Fractured fiit is just fine!

Hi there Yakky - you poor darling - what a terrible thing to happen to you - and you look so great!! How clever you are to be able to colour while your arm is so bad - make sure you rest and get back to health asap!!! God bless you my friend! {{{hugs}}}

I haven't been keeping up on the tsc gallery lately... I knew you had fallen... I am so glad to see you up and about, and coloring too~ What a creative hubby to make this contraption for you to be able to color a bit..
It looks comfy to us.. but I am sure it is not for very long periods of time.
hang in there...things will get better~ even though we want them to be better yesterday... your hair is great by the way!!
thinking of you!
Hugs

Oh Deborah..you leave me in AWE!!! I really admire you wonderful courage. I would love to put this pic up on our bulliten board in the apt bldg where I live...Every one including me are always complaining about our aches and pains. To see such a beautiful smile like yours and then your arm up like that in a cast, this picture deserves an award, and the lady in it.
I wish you a wonderful Merry Christmas, and a speedy recovery!!

Okay I just brushed my teeth and got giggling at your expense and had to come back for more...if you put on an So Saffron Bracelet with a rubber band extension, and add some Mellow Mambo nailpolish, your arm WILL fit the color challenge this week! And since the Whisper White of your cast would be your neutral of choice, you are in with Betty's challenge like Flynn! Giggle....NOW who's being the naughty one...don't tell the Big Guy, PLEASE!!!!!!
