For my inspiration, I chose the Prairie Sunrise Necklace for the great colors. I used little saltbox houses instead of prairie grasses, but the clear acrylic over my magnet looks a lot like the glass pendant. This is also a Sneak Peek at a new sheet from Innovative Stamp Creations called Country Living. The small images are perfect for projects like this magnet or for ATC's.
My quick little card is tan c/s that I die cut using Spellbinders largest, long scalloped rectangle and then I folded in half. I stamped the houses randomly on a piece of dp, attached it to red c/s, then the card front. I added a square of metallic gold c/s that I punched out the center and added a piece of adhesive magnet. Two punched circles of the gold c/s were added in the upper right corner.
The magnet was done by stamping the house, cloud, birds and ground w/ Stazon onto the back of the acrylic round. On the backside, I colored in the images using Galaxy markers. I found a piece of c/s that had this fine stripes on it and I cut a piece for the house and glued it to the backside. I then peeled the top layer off of the circle I punched out of the gold c/s, and glued it to the back using Diamond Glaze. The edge was rimmed w/ a Krylon gold leaf pen and another adhesive magnet circle was attached to the back.
Thanks so much for looking! My blog:The Write Stuff. Sorry! I had to delete a bunch of really old posts from my blog & this is one of them
