Hi! This card was made for today's Featured Stamper Challenge: jojot! Congrats JOANNE!!!! Participants were to CASE, (Copy And Share Everything), a card from the Featured Stamper's Gallery. I chose this card!
The participants were to change at least 2 things. I changed the images, added some color and a ribbon! The background panels were embossed with Textile and Swiss Dots Cuttlebug folders.
The focal image and sentiment were stamped in VesaColor Charcoal. Next, they were embossed in Clear. Next, I stamped the owl onto a Post It and cut it out and placed it onto the stamped owl. Next, I punched out a 1" circle and sponged in Marigold, Canary and Cardinal for the setting sun. Then, I placed the 1" circle over the sponged sun and sponged in Cyan and Celadon for the sky. The grass and tree limb were sponged in with Bamboo and Split Pea. I used a t-shirt painting brush to color in the owl with Topaz and Umber.

What a sponged delight - I love all the sponging and now I want to go sponge something. This image and sentiment are so great and so Fall (which I am so ready for). Great case and great card. Thanks for sharing all the details about how you made it.
