It seems strange to use a prom dress as inspiration for a young man's birthday card, but that's what I needed today. My firstborn is 24....I can hardly believe it. I used this Faviana Prom Dress 6399 as inspiration for Adam's lighthouse birthday card. I colored the embossed image with watercolor pencils first, then SU! markers, and finally with a white Signo pen for highlight and some texture.
Thanks, Stef, for another fun challenge. TFL!

You surely don't look like your firstborn is 24! And what a wonderful inspired card! I love the unique shape of your layout and the embellies you chose. Terrific coloring, too! tfs

Happy Birthday to your son! I love where your inspiration took you, Leisa. This is a terrific guy card! I love how you shaped and matted the main image panel. So cool!

Oh I love this lighthouse scene! Beautiful coloring and love your layout, as well. And who doesn't love those shorebirds on your envelope! That is one of my favorite sets, too!
