Some fun things to look at this morning when Stef sent us to Skeem. I liked all the botanical ones, but I did grasses last week, and as soon as I saw THIS in the Matches section, I knew that I had the perfect Autumn Leaves stamp for it. Plus it suits the day - the sun is splitting the skies, my skylight is open and when DH came up to check something, he thought there was a beeper going off somewhere with the way one of the birds was singing away.
I don't know if it's because I was thinking Matches = Small, but I made an ATC.
As always when I make an ATC, it's up for grabs if anyone wants it.
I used some Sassafrass Lass paper for the base, and stamped on the bird with black ink. Then I stamped some music from a Stampendous stamp with purple distress ink. I Stickled up the flower head and then added some eyelets. When we had the labels challenge for WTI recently, someone had done this with their Dymo label maker. I really liked it, because I've always loved those little Making Memories alphabet stickers that come like this. Stuck the whole thing onto the ATC base and distressed the edges a bit with Milled Lavender and Antique Linen - and now I'm off out to do some gardening.
