Wow. Where to begin? I know some of you are probably thinking to yourself "Her? Really?" and believe me, I've had the SAME thoughts! LOL
My name is Heather Pulvirenti (known on SCS as "inglishrea"), and I live in Columbia MD with my husband Jason, our 4 year old daughter Lindsay, and an assortment of little boogers (aka our cats and puppy). Our daughter is a total spitfire, and I just love her to pieces.
I was born in England, and have spent most of my life in the US (in Maryland and Virginia), except for the four years we lived in Canberra, Australia (my mom was career Air Force).
I was introduced to the world of stamping back in late 2006 when my husband's aunt invited me to a stamp camp... I became a (hobby) demo and haven't looked back since! I am a total hoarder, but am working hard to break the cycle! LOL
My path to becoming a Dirty Girl started on Valentine's day, with an email from Jenn asking if we could talk over the weekend. I think I waited all of two milliseconds before picking up the phone and giving her a ring. I totally thought that I must've done something wrong, maybe I'd put something in my gallery that I shouldn't have (darn those diaper cakes!), and now I was in trouble. We spoke for a moment, and then Jenn told me why she wanted to talk... She wanted to invite me to be a part of the Dirty Dozen. My response? I gasped! LOL I was shocked. Sometimes I think I still am. I look around at the Dirty Girls who've come before me and those currently serving, and wow, just wow! They are some seriously talented ladies, and I honestly don't see how I fit into this amazing puzzle.
I am so incredibly thankful for this opportunity, and for being a part of this fabulous group... Here's to hoping some of their creativity will rub off on me.
