This year I decided I wanted to do a 3-D flower on my Easter card. I drew the cross with a Sharpie Brown maker then stamped the flower with the vine at the bottem using Handsome Hunter ink. The stamp is from Hero Arts - Solid Flowers Flourish. I used the computer to type the word "Rejoice" and printed it out and cut it out. I used SU yoyo yellow chalk to give the highlighting behind the cross. I used MiGill's Baby Blooms punch for the big flowers layering it with the first flower flat on the card and the other I used a tool specifically for molding flowers to make the 3D effect by using a circle motion in the center of the flower while it was on a foam mat. I used a Punch Bunch flower corner punch for the smaller flowers. I used a stylis in the center of the flower to make them 3D using the same technique as the big flower. I used a Glitter Gel pen for the centers of the flowers. On the big flowers there is a white small flower for the center then another tiny purple flower for the very center of the flower. The purple paper I used is a textured shimmer paper. And there you have it! It took a while to punch all the flowers but it was well worth the effort! I ended up using my heal to press the large punch because my hands aren't strong enough. It worked! Amazing what a foot can do!! Enjoy!
