What a wonderful choice for today's Featured Stamper, Beth! Especially on the heels of the IC with Glenda Mosher, another painterly stamper. I couldn't help be take inspiration from both of them in their use of color and shading. Now I am pretty handicapped with the paint brushes, but I can pick paper and my Basic Grey Ambrosia zest has just the shades I was looking for to make a case! I used the soft feel of Michelle's beiges and golds in my orange, sort of kept the layout and the strong center interest. I added collage details and bold alpha font.
My 6x6 page is for the His Holy Name challenge the word we studied this time was ALMIGHTY. I used the Hebrew word EL Shaddai along the left side, selecting different fonts for each letter in honor of our worlds different people groups. They were stamped on GP white with ColorBox black and embossed. I inked the edges with ChalkBox tangerine. The EL is on a tag that has a tiny gold crown stamped directly onto the background.
I stamped Cornish Heritage Farms mountains onto the very top of the paper in two rows across...it is embossed in clear and I used french blue chalk ink to color in the sky. It is quite subtle, but reminds me of the early writers of sacred text describing the Lord as the mountain GOD...the highest thing they could see. My scripture is on a parchment (image from Purple Onion Designs) inked with TH di walnut stain. I used Photoshop for the font. My journaling tag is a ticket from TH ideaology line. I added the 'Shalom' from Amuse to the edge. The key is one of a set by K&CO. I added a bit of vintage velvet burgandy ribbon and the coin that says 'forevermore'. The bookplate is a clear acrylic image from Crafty Secrets...I inked it with VersaMark and embossed with Anitiquities rust powder. The copper brads are a Joann buy. The word Almighty was had written in Sakuri puff pen. The date of the challenge is in the bottom right corner, March 15. I used Autumn Leaves mixed up dates for it, inked in Adirondack red pepper.
If you have the time, please have a listen to . I hope it will be a blessing to you.
Thanks for looking and to Michelle, your art is amazing, I love how you combine your two passions, you are one talented gal!

Susan, this is stunning....I love every aspect of it - but that scripture...how perfect and beautiful is that. We used to sing a 'Songs of Praise' chorus with those words...'My heart and my flesh sing out to the Living God....' this is so moving and powerful...this page sings out to the LIVING GOD Susan....perfect!! Thank you for sharing, inspiring and ministering - God bless you!!
