I had started making this card last night for this week's CCEE sketch challenge. It was going to be an A2 card, but by changing it up to a 5x7 card I was able to incorporate today's WT challenge, layering up embellishments. I've never used this many gems on one card before!!
The base is a red textured card. The next layer is textured blue leather-effect card, edged in gold and with ticket-punched corners. The strip is BG Mellow, layered onto brown leather-effect card and edged with Mizuhiki cord. The chipboard is also BG Mellow, which I wiped with an Olive pigment ink and added lots of Kaiser gems. The stem is made from 3 strands of Mizuhiki cord stuck onto double-sided tape and curled round a bit. The image is my new October Afternoon Detours set, stamped with Marvy markers. I added some grass and a bit of sponging. Dew Drops in the corners, and that was it.
Thanks for the sketch, and for the WT .

I love what you've gone and done today, Girl! Beautiful everything on this one. Look at all those stones. I know you sent me an email, but I'm on the run. I'll catch up with you later!
