When my DDs were little, every Fall and C'mas we used to make shaped chocolates to give to their friends and teachers. We haven't done that in a while, but I think we'll revive the tradition this year.
My card, for today's Limited Supply challenge---chocolate---features mocha chocolate acorns with mint chocolate leaves. Mmmmmm...just writing that is making my mouth water! Although, I would skip the mint leaves---I don't like mint very much. I know, I know....how weird can I be? ;)
I used a chipboard embellishment as my template for the circle placement. I'm thinking I might make these for my Thanksgiving card...it's pretty fast once you get in assembly line mode.
This is my first time using the new dp in the mini. The caramel layer is popped up over the acorns. HA! I just realized that all of my cs has a food name---vanilla, chocolate, caramel, sage...LOL, it sounded good until the sage...
TFL!

your card is charming, I love the acorns, they look like they have a dusting of powdered sugar on top. loved to read your memory...in our home it is making pralines!
