This card is for today's silhouette challenge. It's for my son, Kyle's, 21st birthday.
It is my first try at making a background scene with a moon. I used a circle for masking and a sponge. I also extended the tree to make a little more room for the buck. The image is embossed on vellum. You can barely see the flannel plaid background with more grass on the cocoa panel. It shows up on the envie flap, though. I stamped the flannel background and then rubbed it with Night of Navy on a sponge. Very masculine for my young man. TFL!

This is great; love the colors and the way you used the flannel bg on your envie flap. Super card. I like this deer but the men in my family are more into sports than the outdoors so I'm not sure it would be a good investment for me.. They'd probably think "why is she sending me a card with a deer on it?"
