I made this card for my son's 6th grade teacher, Alice, who has had surgery and will be out of school for a few weeks. We all love her and want her to get well soon! Her favorite color is medium blue....so yes, these are blue cone flowers!
This is a case of today's featured stamper, Card Crazy. Her gallery is awesome! I chose this CARD to case.
It is Denise's entry for sketch challenge 166, but I changed the way the panels layer, so my sketch is slightly different. I made mine a tall card so that the entire class can sign the inside. I used a different stamp set, colors, and added ribbon and a sentiment. TFL!

My, but that's a beautiful card! Did you mist the flower before you stamped it? Also, did you use glossy paper? I always have a hard time getting the flower image to come out clear. Thanks Joy

Thanks, 3Meows! I didn't mist the stamp or use glossy paper. I do usually "huff" on the stamp...breath a quick puff of air on it before stamping. I think on those large stamps (it's been a while!) that I colored the stamp with marker, instead of trying to get coverage with a stamp pad. But if you look the image isn't perfectly filled in...which adds to the hand made charm, imo.
